Schedule of Events for Our 60th Class Reunion - Class of 1949

Saturday August 1, 2009- 12:00 noon - 2:00 pm. Picnic & old high school tour!
Come to the Picnic! Be causal, relax and have a good time in the yard and patio at the home of Marian Pike. 403 Pitkin Street , just east of the OLD High School. Bring your own lunch and we will provide lemonade, punch, and table settings. After lunch, a guide will meet us at the old high school building across the street from the Pike�s and we will tour the new CSU facility. CSU has done marvelous things to our tired old building and you will find it worth seeing. (There will be a small fee for the tour) We will also see the beautiful flower gardens. Bring your camera! Fran (Ray ) Ford and Louise �Lou� (Watkins) Weber have made these plans for us.

The Moot House (2626 South College Ave.) Dinner reservations should be made through Joan (Wheeler) LaGrone at 399 Arroyo Rd, Brighton, CO 80601 (phone 303-495-3772 or cell 970-231-2398). Please reserve early. With over 20, the Moot House requests that we choose from the following three choices: 1) Moot House pride and joy-Prime Rib and baked potato, 2) Chilean Salmon basted with honey, Dijon mustard and cinnamon and rice blend., 3) Chicken Oscar - flame broiled breast and asparagus and Alaskan King Crab, and rice. All include salad, beverage and bread for $21.95.

We have reserved a block of 20 rooms at the Marriott (380 East Horsetooth) for out of town classmates and it is where the 50+ year club brunch will be held on Sunday at 10 am. Special reunion room rate is $109 and must be reserved by July 1, After that, the price reverts back to $159. Make reservations directly at the hotel at 970-226-5200 and mention the Class of 1949 - 60th Reunion.

Sunday, August 2, 2009 - 10 - 11 am , 50+ Alumni Club - "Meet & Greet hour" and Brunch
50+Year Club Meet & Greet Hour. - Marriott Hotel (380 East Horsetooth, Fort Collins) - All FCHS alumni and spouses prior to 1959 invited, normally about 400-500 people show up! A wonderful time for seeing classmates graduating in other years.
Brunch about 11 am ($25.00 per person) look for the Class of 1949 tables. Send payment by July 21 to Cathy Kainer - 4901 Sandstone Drive Fort Collins, CO 80526.
